January Update

January has been unseasonably warm, or so we are told. The average highs have been in the upper 40s or lower 50s. Of course it is still raining a little about every day. I guess I'm not sure if I would rather have it colder without the rain or keep it as is. I will try not to be picky though and be thankful that June is approaching quickly.

Mindy had another doctor's appointment on Monday. All good news and we are getting closer to delivery, but nothing blog worthy really. Here is a picture of the waiting area. Notice the queuing number system. Back in the states I only saw this at a grocery store while waiting for the deli or something. Here it is everywhere. Doctors, post office, city hall, a vegetable stand at the market, and maybe even other stranger places.

Here is a picture of the doctor's actual office. His office contains everything in one room, no need for extra rooms, sonogram, exam table, consultation, all in one spot. I think it saves time and money. Back in the US, we had to see a nurse first, then wait again for the sonographer, then wait a third time for the actual doctor. Here we have had very good luck and short waits.

And for the Coup de grace, or nearly anyways.
